June 18, 2012 Suspension of Classes




Due to the heavy rains brought by Typhoon Butchoy, some areas in Metro Manila are flooded, especially the CAMANAVA area.


The Department of Education has not made any announcement regarding suspension of classes for the areas affected.  However, some local government units (LGUs) are expected to announce suspension of classes amid flooding in Metro Manila.  

Malabon LGU has already announced that classes for pre-school, public elementary and high school are suspended.  Classes are also suspended from pre-school to high school in all levels, both private and public at Navotas due to heavy floods.  

Marikina LGU also announced class suspension for pre-school and high school both Public and Private Schools.

      Update:
      Mayor Alfredo Lim announced that there will be no suspension of classes for all schools in Manila because no flooding was monitored (via DZMM Teleradyo).
