'Pacquiao vs Marquez 5' fight this September 2013

'Pacquiao vs Marquez 5' fight could happen in September 2013, but possibly not in Las Vegas anymore.

Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez could possibly fight each other on the ring once again this September, and according to Top Rank Promotions owner and promoter Bob Arum, the highly-anticipated fight might be held in Macau or Singapore, as reported on the Philippine Daily Inquirer today.

It would be Manny Pacquiao's last chance to redeem himself after being knocked out in 6th round by Juan Manuel Marquez during their 4th fight held last December.

The only option for Manny in the said 5th fight is to win also by knock out earlier than Round 6. If he loses again, that could possibly end his boxing career.

If in the previous 4 fights, Manny had the bigger share in earnings than Marquez, the latter most likely will now be the one to get a higher pay on their 5th fight.

For now, Manny Pacquiao and wife Jinkee are busy for the 2013 Philippine Elections campaign. Manny is seeking re-election as congressman for Saranggani Province, while Jinkee is running for a vice-gubernatorial seat.

Pacquiao won over Bradley - WBO Re-score Result

pacquiaovsbradley
Pacquiao Vs Bradley
Five judges assigned by the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to review the controversial Manny Pacquiao vs Timothy Bradley welterweight bout have unanimously re-scored the fight in favor of the Filipino champ.

According to RingTV, all five judges scored the bout 117-111, 117-111, 118-110, 116-112 and 115-113 in Pacman’s favor.

On June 9, 2012, only Jerry Roth scored the bout for Pacquiao, 115-113, while judges Duane Ford and CJ Ross saw it 115-113 for Bradley, giving the latter the victory via a split decision.

The result of the WBO review cannot strip the title from Bradley.

Earlier, WBO president Francisco Valcarcel explained that the review is only part of the organization’s effort to convince state commissions to widen the pool of judges for world title fights as well as improve the scoring system in future matches.

Meanwhile, Pacquiao in a phone interview on Mornings at ANC said he welcomes the WBO panel’s decision to declare him as winner.

Pacquiao also said he feels vindicated with the result of the review.

The solon-boxer reiterated that he is open for a rematch with Bradley. He said, however, that negotiations for the November fight have not taken place.

Pacquiao vs Bradley Computer Box Statistics

Photos of the CompuBox statistics that show how many punches Manny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley have thrown, landed and missed during their world welterweight bout on June 9, 2012 have circulated in the internet.

Each of them watches one of the two fighters and has access to four keys, corresponding to jab connect, jab miss, power punch connect, and power punch miss. The operators key in the different punches as they happen, collecting punch counts and hit percentages along the way.

The following are the statistics of the fight, according to CompuBox:

pacquiaovsbradleycompubox

Psychic Predicts Pacquiao's Loss Over Bradley, Number 7 a Curse to Pacman

Manny Pacquiao's loss over Timothy Bradley on June 9 (June 10 in Manila) at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada was rightfully predicted by Joseph Greenfield, resident psychic of Bandera based on numerology.
Pacquiao's Loss Over Bradley Rightfully Predicted by Psychic Joseph Greenfield via numerology

The psychic pointed out number 7 as a curse to Pacman and other famous and rich personalities. The said number, deemed as Pacquiao's weakness has something to do with him losing the boxing belt to Bradley.
According to the psychic, Manny Pacquiao will lose every after the 15th cycle of his career, meaning the 16th time that he step into the boxing ring, he will lose the fight.
Manny first tasted defeat on February 9, 1996 after he lost to fellow Filipino Rustico Torrecampo in Mandaluyong. After this, he continued to win 15 succeeding fights and on the 16th time, he lost again to Thailander Medgoen Singsurat in a fight held at the latter's home country on September 17, 1999. He again went on to his 15-cycle win before losing the battle again to Erik Morales on March 19, 2005 at Las Vegas.
On June 9, 2012, Pacquiao faced Timothy Bradley only to lose his WBO Welterweight belt. That is after 15 straight wins since Erik Morales defeated him in 2005.
According to the psychic Joseph Greenfield, summing up all the numbers in the dates when Pacquiao lost inside the ring will result to number 7. He also noted that everytime Pacman went on his 16th fight after successive wins, he faced defeat. When we add 1 + 6, this gives us 7.
What an interesting analysis! To learn more about how the psychic came up with the numbers, read his article on Bandera posted June 9 (Manila time), a day before the Pacquiao-Bradley fight.
