Jennifer Aniston, who is best
remembered for playing Rachel Green on the television sitcom ‘Friends’
and for the 2003 film ‘Bruce Almighty’, was honored with a star on the
Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, February 22, 2012.
Aside from Aniston, some of the celebrities who get stars in 2012 for their work in movies, television, radio, and music include Vin Diesel, Scarlett Johansson, Adam West, Richard Burton, Kate Winslet, David Foster, Jennifer Lopez and Boyz II Men.

Speaking
to reporters after the ceremony, the 43-year-old
actress/director/producer admitted that she was “extremely flattered,
humbled, nervous and excited” to have received such a recognition.
“It feels very surreal to be honest. I was born here and it’s sort of something you went and saw as a kid and got excited about just walking and seeing the names. To imagine that you’re going to be there is really special. It’s fun,” she added.
According to its official website, the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an internationally-recognized Hollywood icon. It is a tribute to all of those who worked diligently to develop the concept and to maintain a world-class tourist attraction.
