Unveiled las February 9 at Los Angeles, the Tesla
Model X is slowly gaining interests from car buyers. Many had been
enchanted by its astounding capabilities especially its ability to raise
its side doors in the air called the “Falcon Wing”. Prior to its
launching, within just a day, reservations for Tesla Model X reaches
over $40 million.
The Tesla Model X is full-sized battery electric
crossover sport utility vehicle designed by Tesla Motors. The concept of
the car is derived from its sedan predecessor platform, Model S. Unlike
any other car, the Model X has a seamless seven-passenger SUV,
including the driver’s seat, which accomodates more people inside.
Model
X surely will capture the hearts of everyone particularly to those who
are environment lovers. Since the car is powered by electricity, it
won’t produce harmful smokes. Tesla Model X is an example of Electric
Vehicle empowerment. Tesla’s Founder and CEO, Elon Musk, stressed, “This
is kind of the killer app for families. [The Model X] has more utility
than a minivan, and better performance, much better performance than an
SUV.”
Though the price has not been announced by Tesla,
they still received 500 reservations for the car. Reservations require
at least $5,000 that is fully refundable if the customer want to back
out. The Model X is expected to be released by the early 2014 but for
those who reserved for $20,000 can get their brand new Model X Signature
Edition at the late 2013.
