The Azkals, bronze winner in the recent AFC Challenge Cup, will play against China in a Philippine Independence Day match at the Rizal Memorial Stadium on June 12.
Reports say that the Philippines vs China game is part of a possible football series in Bacolod City on June 5 and 8 with teams coming from Thailand and Vietnam.
Azkals coach Michael Weiss reportedly said Stephan Schrock, Jerry Lucena, Dennis Cagara, Neil Etheridge, Paul Mulders, Phil Younghusband and possibly Manny Ott will see action for the Philippines.
Apparently, there was no mention of Lexton Moy and Angel Guirado, the Azkals who were charged with sexual harrassment by match commissioner Cristy Ramos before the Asian Football Confederation earlier this month.
