The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) issued the first franchise of the electric public utility jeepney to the eJeepney Transport Corporation. Starting March 1,2012, passengers will pay P8.00 for the first kilometer and an additional P1.45 per succeeding kilometer.
As you can notice, the fare is the same with the diesel-powered jeepneys. However, the fare may still drop because it is not using any amount of gasoline.

There are 10 e-Jeepneys in the Legaspi Village Loop - Rizal Drive Terminal-Esperanza-Pase de Roxas-Dela Rosa-Makati Avenue.
Another 10 e-Jeepneys in the Sacedo Village Loop - West Drive-Makati Avenue-Paseo de Roxas-Dela Costa Street.

- e-Jeepneys have an 8-hour charging time.
