We consider Julia Montes as a role model for the youth. At seventeen, she works hard and sacrifices blood, tears and sweat to provide her family things they need.
Instead of giving herself a gift during her birthday on March 19, Julia chose to buy a house for her family. Video of the blessing is embedded below.
The young actress said her aspirations in life, including the house, have started to become a reality.
“Yung mga dati kong dreams ay unti-unti ko nang natutupad, lalo na yung bahay na pinapangarap ko para sa pamilya ko,” said Julia in a recent interview.
“Hindi na ako mamumroblema sa renta, na paano itong monthly namin. At least ngayon, stable na yung titirhan ng family ko,” she gladly said.
Although the family already has a new house, the “Walang Hanggan” star still needs to provide for her siblings’ education.
“Siguro ngayon, ang aasikasuhin ko na lang, yung education ng mga kapatid ko—at secure na yung future nila.”
Julia’s parents are separated. Her German father left her since she was a baby and only her deaf mom raised her, with the help of her grandmother.
