Finally. Temple Run, the very addictive runner game that has so many iOS device users hooked for hours is going to Android
devices. To prove its popularity, Temple Run is currently the top free
app and top grossing app in the App Store. It has so far garnered 40
million downloads and there are said to be 7 million daily active users.
Temple Run is a free game but some avail of in-app purchases for more characters and more special powers and abilities. Temple Run
is a very exciting game that requires users to jump over obstacles,
duck under trees and bars, turn on corners while trying to get powers
and bonus points. I have played this on an iPhone
and I was hooked after just a few tries. It requires quick reflexes
since the pace is a bit fast and only gets faster as the game
progresses.
Imangi Studios, the maker of Temple Run, made an announcement that the game will be available on the Android Market, now called Google Play,
starting March 27. The studio previously floated February as the
release date for Temple Run but it was delayed for reasons only the
studio knows.
Here’s the Press Release from Imangi Studios.
