Annabelle Rama will allegedly run for congressional seat in the north district of Cebu City in the 2013 elections.
The
controversial talent manager and mom to Ruffa and Richard Gutierrez
registered at the COMELEC office in Cebu City this morning to be able to
vote in the north district of the city. The act was perceived by many
as a preparation to run for public office.
According
to reports, Annabelle had been invited for days by her cousin Michael
Rama who is currently Cebu City’s mayor, to be part of the Team Rama in
the 2013 elections. Mike will run for re-election in 2013, and if
Annabelle does run for representative of the north district, she will
face either current representative Rachel Del Mar or her father Raul Del
Mar if ever he chooses to run again.
Annabelle was recently
involved in a controversial issue with Nadia Montenegro involving two
daughters of the latter. The two have pressed charges against each other
and still haven’t made amends.
