A campaign against international pop superstar Lady Gaga, which alleges that she is ‘Satanic’, is spreading through text since Thursday, May 17, 2012.
The text message reads:
“Pass this to our Christian sisters/brothers: WAKE UP CHILD OF GOD! Satan is now moving through the life of Lady Gaga. She will perform her concert in 116 cities all over the world and to promote her ‘Born This Way’ album, in where she encourages sexual immorality. She humiliates our Lord JESUS in her song ‘Judas’. She said that she will bring JESUS down! And she loves what Judas had done and she wants to have sex with him...please open the eyes of your heart to what’s happening around us. Let’s all pray to the Lord for His mighty moving spirit to crush down the works of Satan...please pass as many as you can.”
Lady Gaga is set to perform at the SM Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on May 21 and 22.
Some religious groups are reportedly planning to hold prayer vigils to protest the staging of her upcoming concert. Reports said that anti-Lady Gaga protesters would stage a “Jericho March” to the concert venue sometime this weekend.
Despite the protests, producers of the Lady Gaga 2012 concert reportedly said that the event is pushing through as tickets have already been sold out.
