Rajon Rondo of Boston Celtics had a career game with 44 points, 10 assists and 8 rebounds, but it wasn’t enought as the Miami Heat rallied in overtime to claim Game 2 of best of seven Eastern Conference Finals, 115-111.
Dwyane Wade was sensational again in second half
after scoring only 2 points in the first half. The Flash finished with
23 points, including the go-ahead basket and-one in closing seconds of
overtime to give Miami five point lead.
Lebron James was his usual superb self with 34 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
The Heat was in constant attack that puts the Celtics in foul trouble. Paul Pierce fouled out of the game, together with Kenyon Dooling.
Rondo carried the visitors with superb numbers without any rest, displaying great shooting as the Heat intentionally left him open. Pierce added 21 and Ray Allen had a decent showing with 18 points.
Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals will be on Friday night (Saturday morning, Manila time) in Boston.
