Is June 11, 2012 a holiday in the Philippines?
On June 12, which falls on a Tuesday, will be the 114th Proclamation
of our Independence Day or Araw ng Kalayaan. Despite the fact that
economic holidays are no longer practiced by the current administration, many are still hoping for long weekends, thus, still asking if a possibility for the proclamation of June 11 as a holiday.
Malacanang has not released an advisory for changes in schedule.
