Cyrish Magalang, a University of Santo Tomas (UST) alumna of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management Batch 2012, was found stabbed to death 49 times in Gawaran, Cavite, according to a poster from the UST-Central Student Council calling for "Justice for Cyrish Magalang."
"For those people who's asking about Cyrish Magalang, her mom called us.
She's gone, her body was found at Gawaran, Cavite," Joyce Kriesha Lynne
Manalo said in the poster. "She was stabbed by the tricycle
addicts...to death 49 times and they hit her head with wood," she added.
"She was picked up by the addicts in her subdivision around 8 pm in
Camella while buying barbeque at the corner of the street."
"Please pray for her soul," Manalo appealed to the netizens. "To those who know her, fellow CHTM, fellow Thomasians and from Statefields, pray for her. You can visit her burial. Thank you!"
According to the appeal of several netizens, Cyrish Magalang went missing and they called for help to find her.
GMA News in a report said Magalang sustained 49 stab wounds, based on information obtained from the funeral parlor where the victim was brought.
Police authorities are still investigating the motive behind the incident.
