PAGASA Weather Update August 22 on Typhoon Maring and Habagat

At 2:00 am today, August 22, there is no tropical cyclone existing within the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).


Yellow Rainfall Advisory: 
Weather System: Southwest Monsoon (Habagat)

Target Areas: Metro Manila (CAMANAVA, Manila, Pasay and Quezon City)

Moderate to occasionally heavy rains is expected over Metro Manila (CAMANAVA, Manila, Pasay and Quezon City) and portion of Rizal within the next 3 hours.

However, moderate to heavy rains is affecting Pampanga, Bataan and portions of Bulacan, Tarlac, Zambales and Nueva Ecija and most likely to continue for the next 3 hours.

Flooding in low-lying areas may still prevail.

All are advised to monitor the weather condition and watch for the next advisory.
