Cherry Pie Picache has released a statement regarding the death of her mother, 75-year-old Zenaida "Baby" Sison, who was found dead inside her Quezon City home on Friday.
The actress herself found her mother lifeless, bearing stab wounds.
According to reports, Cherry Pie went to her mother's house because she was not answering her calls.
The "Ikaw Lamang" actress broke her silence about her mother's death on Monday through an official statement where she also thanked the people who have been helping her with the case.
She also mentioned that she and her family are hoping to get justice for the death of her mother.

We trust that the QCPD (Quezon City Police Department) together with the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) through their vigilance and effort will apprehend the person or persons who committed this gruesome crime against our mother and family and to our society.
