"My App Boyfie" is an upcoming ABS-CBN series featuring the JaDine loveteam, composed of James Reid and Nadine Lustre.
James and Nadine will finally star in their own TV show, the Wattpad-to-TV adaptation "My App Boyfie" coming soon on ABS-CBN. It's a fantasy romance comedy series, so it's most likely replacing "Pure Love" in the early primetime block of the Kapamilya network.

Getting their own teleserye as part of their 2-year exclusive contract with the network is actually just one of the many fruits that JaDine is starting to reap after having 2 successive movie hits in just a span of 5 months: April's "Diary Ng Panget The Movie" which earned P119.5-million in its entire run and just last month's "Talk Back You're Dead" which has collected so far P65.7-million after 12 days, now the 7th highest-grossing Pinoy film this 2014.

With their 2 movies having combined grosses of over P185M, truly JaDine is a certified box-office loveteam, and so ABS-CBN is giving them their first ever TV series.
It's unusual in Philippine showbiz that a loveteam is making a shift from big screen to the small screen. Usually, it's the other way around: from TV first to movie, just like the KimXi and the KathNiel loveteams, two of the most successful loveteams today whether on TV or in the movies. Some other TV loveteams actually either didn't even make it to the big screen, or they've tested, but failed.
Since they've already proven their box-office worth with their 2 movies, for sure JaDine won't be having a hard time having their first TV hit
