Eat Bulaga mainstay Jose Manalo’s wife, Annalyn, has reportedly filed a complaint against her husband for violations of RA No. 9262 or the “Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act.”
According to a “TV Patrol” report aired on Wednesday, March 7, Annalyn charged the comedian-host with abuse, as well as bigamy for tying the knot with another woman eighteen years ago.
The name of the woman whom Jose allegedly married in 1994 was not mentioned.
Annalyn, who revealed on “The Buzz” over the weekend that Jose left her and their children in January apparently in favor of his mistress, was very emotional during the interview aired on “TV Patrol.” She said, crying:
“Yung schools ng mga anak mo, tumatawag. Bayaran mo yung dapat mong bayaran, yung commitment mo bilang tatay, bilang asawa ko. Sinisisi mo sa akin lahat yung kasalanan. Be man enough, tao kaming iniwan mo.”
Jose refused to comment on the matter, the report said.
