Will Data Plan 1000 be better than other plans, though? Let’s take a look at Data Plan 1000 with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and compare this with Unli Data Plan 2000 where the handset is being offered for free.
Data Plan 1000 | Unli Data Plan 2000 | |
Free SMS | 500 SMS to all networks | 200 SMS to all networks |
Free Calls | 500 minutes (Smart to Smart) | 150 minutes (Smart to Smart and Smart to other networks) |
FreeMobileInternet | 1GB | Unlimited |
Handset Cost | P21,600 (P900 x 24 months) | Free |
Total Cost for Bundle | P45,600 (P21,600 + 24,000) | P48,000 (P2000 X 24 months) |
From the above comparison, Samsung Galaxy Nexus on Data Plan 1000 is definitely cheaper. This option offers more minutes and more free text messages, although Unli Data Plan 2000 offers unlimited internet whereas Data Plan 1000 only offers 1GB of data. Data Plan 1000 is the more attractive bundle but it you’re after unlimited internet, you might be better off choosing Unli Data Plan 2000. In essence, Data Plan 1000 offers users a new option of getting their dream phones and getting an ideal subscription plan.
