Last February, a crazy and fun music video featuring Hollywood celebrities, such as Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and more, was uploaded on YouTube. Since then, the video became viral reaching to 39M+ views. Also, several groups of people uploaded their own version of the music video, adding to the popularity of the video.
The music video was for the song Call Me Maybe by Carly Rae Jepsen, who also starred in the said video. In the interview with Selena Gomez, she
said that she and her friends were just hanging out when they thought
of making the music video, which they uploaded online, never expecting
that it would be this crazy.
One of the most recent adaptation for Gomez and her friend’s video featured some Pinoy celebrities, high fashion models, fashion designers
and TV hosts. They are Anne Curtis, Georgina Wilson, Isabelle Daza,
Solenn Heusaff, Liz Uy, Bea Soriano, Carla Humphries, Raymond Gutierrez,
Erwan Heusaff, Borgy Manotoc, Adrien Semblat, Nico Bolzivo, Eric Dee
and with a special participation of Pinoy Champ Manny Pacquiao. The video, edited by Miguel Lugtu, was uploaded on YouTube on May 21.
In just two days after it was uploaded, the
video reached to an overwhelming 91,000+ views. It is expected to gain
even more views in the coming days.
