The controversial rape scene of Paulo Avelino and Julia Montes in the phenomenal drama series “Walang Hanggan” has put the show at the top of TV ratings.
According to the latest data of Kantar Media on Wednesday, August 1, the episode ranked first in the country’s overall top 20 programs, ABS-CBN reports.
“Walang Hanggan” garnered a 38.7% national TV rating, way ahead of its rival show “Makapiling Kang Muli” on GMA-7, which got 16.7% only.
That particular episode also became a trending topic on Twitter along with Paulo and Julia’s characters ‘Nathan’ and ‘Katerina,’ a report said.
“Walang Hanggan” airs weeknights on the Kapamilya network, after “Princess and I” on Primetime Bida.
