The American Idol Season 11 grand finale happens on May 22 and 23, 2012 (May 23 and 24 in Philippines). Voting starts after the performances. Here are three ways to vote for Jessica Sanchez in American Idol 2012 Finals.
Toll-free Voting
- Each contestant will be assigned his or her own toll-free number during the performance show. To vote, simply watch American Idol and dial the telephone number of the contestant you wish to vote for.
- Anyone calling the toll-free numbers from an area code from within the Continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be able to cast votes.
- There have been blog posts that residents from Asia including the Philippines can vote by phone through Magic Jack.
- Voting via toll-free is unlimited.
AT&T Text Voting
- Each contestant will be assigned his or her own SMS/text message short code number. AT&T wireless customers only may text the word ‘VOTE’ to the 4 digit short code numbers promoted for each contestant.
- Any AT&T wireless subscriber who has the ability to text message and has an area code from within the Continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be able to cast their votes.
- Text voting is also unlimited.
Online Voting
- If you have a Facebook account you can also vote online at www.AmericanIdol.com. [Voting page link].
- Anyone with a Facebook account registered within the Continental U.S., Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands will be able cast their votes.
- Vote up to 50 times per Facebook account ID.
