Filipino-Mexican Jessica Sanchez recently visited the RollingStone
studio to talk about what people should expect to hear in her future
albums.
She said that what people saw in American Idol
was different from what she wants to be as an artist. “I’m not a pop
singer at all and I think that’s why people got confused when I sang my
single because it was like a straight pop single,” she told
RollingStone, and added a promise that she’s “ready to show everybody
that’s not who I am.”
She also talked about being so thrilled when she ended up being on Beyonce’s website after singing Sweet Dreams in AI. “I freaked out about that cause she’s like one of my biggest idols.”
The
16-year-old singer also revealed her Eminem fandom. “I love Eminem.
It’s like Justin Bieber to all those little girls. It’s like crazy how
much I love him like I would cry if he walked into this room right now.”
