Star Cinema’s “The Mistress,” starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo, did not only achieved a successful premiere night Tuesday, it also received a “B” grade from the Cinema Evaluation Board.
Grade “B” films are eligible for 65 percent of the amusement tax collected, while the remaining 35 will be added to the funds of the local council.
Directed by Olivia Lamasan, “The Mistress” is one of the highlights of the 10th anniversary celebration of Bea and John Lloyd as a loveteam.
The movie also stars Hilda Koronel, Ronaldo Valdez, Anita Linda, Carmi Martin, K Brosas and many others.
Star Cinema says the film is being shown in more than 100 theaters all over the country.
