International pop superstar Lady Gaga tries acting as she stars in an upcoming action exploitation film to be directed by Robert Rodriguez.
The singer confirmed on Twitter that she will make her acting debut in “Machete Kills,” playing the character of La Chameleón.
“Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress ln the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ,” Lady Gaga tweeted.
“IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane,” she posted on the micro-blogging site.
The movie has a star-studded cast that includes Danny Trejo, Lindsay Lohan, Michelle Rodriguez, Vanessa Hudgens, Sofia Vergara, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Tom Savini, Cuba Gooding Jr., Zoe Saldana, William Sadler and Charlie Sheen, among others.
“Machete Kills” is set for release in 2013.
