Previous UPCATs consist only of multiple-choice questions but this year—for the first time in the UPCAT history—examinees were asked to write an essay.
Many were caught by surprise, but intead of getting cranky on the new test questionnaire add-on, UPCAT examinees turned to the internet to make fun out of it.
The hashtag #RejectedUPCATEssayQuestions topped the Philippine trends on Twitter over the weekend. It’s a trending topic about mostly rhetorical questions that are actually irrelevant to the UPCAT, but are often hilarous and entertaining.
