Bench on Coco Martin's "Naked Truth" Scandal

Bench has released an official statement regarding some elements of their "The Naked Truth Denim and Underwear Show" last Saturday that were seen as offensive.

"We at Bench apologize to the public for all the offensive elements of the show, 'The Naked Truth,'" the brand said in the statement it posted on Instagram on Tuesday. "We will take all these concerns seriously and will serve as a lesson learned when we plan our next show."

The women's rights group Gabriela earlier condemned the act in the fashion show where actor Coco Martin walked the runway holding a female model on a leash.

On Facebook, Gabriela's Liza Maza described the act as "degrading and dehumanizing portrayal of women" which Bench should apologize for.

Meanwhile, Bench also mentioned in its statement that they "shall continue to uphold the dignity of women and our commitment will remain so."

'Bench: The Naked Truth Denim & Underwear Show' - Photos

"Bench: The Naked Truth Denim and Underwear Show" was staged at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on Saturday, September 20, 2014. It was postponed a day later because of Typhoon Mario, which, for sure, doubled the cost of production.

The hottest Bench models walked the ramp, joined by local and foreign models in their undies.

Jake Cuenca was the most daring celebrity model by showing his behind. He already did that by wearing a thong last year but its kinda different this time, plus he did a little aerial show with his bum on display.

Check out some photos of Jake below, plus other celebs who walked Bench's #TheNakedTruth Denim and Underwear Show.

Coco Martin for 'Bench: The Naked Truth'

Coco Martin will be at the "Bench: The Naked Truth Denim & Underwear Show" at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena on September 19.

But will he be showing some skin this time? Or will he be wearing a tank top just like the last time in Bench Universe?

Yes, Coco is hot even with clothes on. But the biennial event is a "denim and underwear show." And if he got one of the loudest cheers in 2012 despite the tank top, I'm sure the crowd will be ready to shout their lungs out this year if he'd tease them a little.

Kim Chiu, Kathryn Bernardo On Bench Singapore’s Posters

DO NOT EVER WONDER when you see familiar faces on Billboards while strolling Singapore these days.

Yes folks, Bench is now in Singapore and we saw a few posters featuring popular Kapamilya stars Kathryn Bernardo and Kim Chiu.

On January 4, 2014, Bench Official Facebook account posted a photo of Bernardo with the caption: “Hey Benchsetters! If you’re in the area, don’t forget to drop by the newly opened BENCH/ Metro City Square Singapore and check out what we’ve got for you. See you there! #benchsingapore #benchtm”.
While just a few moments ago, Chiu posted a photo of her for the Filipino-owned clothing line on her Instagram account, @chinitaprincess.

While the brand keeps on bringing in popular international stars to the country, it seems to have started promoting the brand in other countries as well by way of exposing our Filipino stars to global Filipino audience as it opens branches worldwide.

Jake Cuenca at Bench Universe 2012

Jake Cuenca was a crowd-pleaser (again) at the Bench Universe: The 2012 Bench Denim and Underwear Fashion Show held at MOA Arena Thursday night, September 14, 2012.

Jake Cuenca did once more what he did during the 2010 Bench Underwear Show: he stripped and flashed his butt to the crowd.

He never fails to sizzle!

And for the 2nd night of the Bench Universe: the 2012 Denim and Underwear Fashion Show happening tonight, Sep. 14, Jake promises to do crazier than what he did last night. He tweeted: "Alright...again preparing for tom. I'm gonna have to hashtag this #thelastone if guys u thought that was crazy wait till later!"

Hmm... Can't wait!

Sexy Kim Chiu at Bench Universe

A curvaceous, sexy Kim Chiu came out on stage to open "Bench Universe: Denim and Underwear Show 2012" last night, September 13, at MOA Arena.

Kim Chiu was at her best and sexiest look last night, probably the best-looking woman at the said Bench show.

Even Kapuso star Bubbles Paraiso took notice of how hot this Kapamilya star was. "Kim Chiu is effortlessly hot. Grabe lang," Bubbles said on Twitter.
