Another Filipino may soon be conquering the international music scene in the name of Jessica Sanchez who was included in the Top 24 of the new season of American Idol. She has been one of the early favorites, gaining a resounding “yes” from the three judges when she auditioned for the singing search. So it’s no surprising that this girl was named as one of the bests.
Sanchez is 16 years old, born and raised in Southern California, and
is of Mexican and Filipino heritage. Her name rings a bell because she
was one of the contestants of America’s Got Talent Season 1 when she was 11 years old.
