We have just met more standouts on The X Factor Philippines' episode Saturday night, July 14, 2012, on ABS-CBN, showing the auditionees from Mindanao.
Among them is the good-looking Michael Pangilinan, 16, who introduced himself in the show as someone who wants to be known in showbiz.
When asked by judge Charice why he joined The X Factor Philippines, here's what Michael Pangilinan said: "Para po matulungan yung family ko, and syempre gusto ko maging isang artista, and gusto kong makilala bilang isang singer."
Michael sang Eric Clapton's 'Wonderful Tonight' and he got 4 "YES".
On a Facebook Page under his name, it was already announced that he made it to X Factor Philippines' Top 20.
The other Saturday, Michael was spotted performing on GMA 7's "Walang Tulugan", where he revealed he is being managed by Manny Valera, manager of Alessandra de Rossi, Glaiza de Castro, Jean Garcia, Alwyn Uytingco and more.
This coming July 21, he will already be one of the featured performers in a mini-concert at the Zirkoh Tomas Morato alongside Luke Mejares, Duncan Ramos, Jimmy Bondoc and more, and also this August along with Allan K, The Company, Jake Vargas, Valerie Concepcion and the SexBomb Girls, also at Zirkoh Tomas Morato.
Another successful auditionee shown last night was 20-year-old college grad KZ Tandingan from Digos City, Davao del Sur.
Melai
Cantiveros, is that you? When asked the same question as Michael, KZ
KZ sang "Somewhere Over The Rainbow", one of the best renditions of the songs I've heard so far.
I think KZ best defines "X Factor". As what the 4 judges said, she has originality, the attitude and the voice. "You have it all", said Gary V.
It would be a disappointment I guess if she doesn't make it as a finalist. Maybe we should expect her among the Top 20 finalists.
Aside from Michael and KZ, other successful auditionees shown on July 14 episode of The X Factor Philippines were a female trio called The Colors, gay trio Ladivadings, 25-year-old government employee Maricel Callo and 25-year-old former IT consultant John Peter Bryant Caimbon.
